Terms of Service
On this page, "Anchored," "we," and "us" refer to RW Digital Ventures LLC, a Wyoming company (30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA). These terms cover this website and the Anchored iOS app. By accessing or using the website, creating an account, or purchasing or using the Anchored app, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use Anchored. When you create an account or purchase a subscription, you may be required to affirmatively accept these Terms.
About Anchored
Anchored is a faith-based habit-support app that provides Christian men with encouragement, structure, check-ins, progress tools, Scripture-based content, and optional ally connections. Anchored is intended for personal, noncommercial use. Features, content, availability, and pricing may change over time.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Anchored. By accessing the website, joining the waitlist, creating an account, or using the app, you represent that you satisfy these requirements. Anchored is not intended for minors, and you may not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 18.
Not medical or clinical advice
Anchored provides faith-based encouragement, educational content, and self-guided habit-support tools. Anchored does not provide medical care, mental health treatment, addiction treatment, diagnosis, therapy, professional counseling, or pastoral care, and no healthcare provider-patient, therapist-client, or clergy-penitent relationship is created through your use of Anchored. Anchored is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition and is not a substitute for advice or treatment from a qualified professional.
Anchored is not an emergency or crisis-response service. If you believe you may harm yourself or another person, call emergency services immediately. In the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If you are outside the United States, contact your local emergency services or crisis hotline.
Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your account information current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity occurring through your account. You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or access another person's account without authorization. Notify us promptly at hello@remainanchored.com if you believe your account has been accessed or used without permission. We may require reasonable verification before restoring access or responding to account-related requests.
Subscriptions and purchases
Anchored offers the following purchase options, processed by Apple through your Apple Account:
- An annual subscription at $59.99 per year, which includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- A monthly subscription at $9.99 per month.
- A one-time lifetime purchase at $149.99.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions; your access continues until the end of the period you paid for. If you cancel during the free trial before it ends, you will not be charged. The lifetime purchase is a single payment and does not renew.
"Lifetime access" means access for as long as Anchored continues to make the applicable app and features commercially available. It does not guarantee that Anchored will operate indefinitely or that every present feature will remain available permanently.
All purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card information. Prices and available purchase options may change, but subscription price changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and Apple's requirements. Except where required by law or Apple's policies, payments are nonrefundable.
Acceptable use
You may use Anchored only for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes. You may not access another person's account or data; share your account credentials; interfere with the security or operation of Anchored; probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities; introduce malware or harmful code; scrape or access Anchored through unauthorized automated means; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law prohibits this restriction; copy, resell, or commercially exploit Anchored; impersonate another person; infringe another person's rights; or use Anchored in a manner that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful. You may send an ally invitation only to a person who has agreed to receive it.
Content and ownership
Anchored and its original content, software, design, trademarks, graphics, and other materials are owned by RW Digital Ventures LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Scripture included in Anchored is drawn from the King James Version and the World English Bible. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use Anchored for its intended purpose.
You retain ownership of information and content you enter into the app. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate Anchored, provide requested features, protect the service, and comply with law. Our handling of your information is further described in the Privacy Policy. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, subject to legally required retention and reasonable backup processes.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. By using Anchored, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference to the extent permitted by law.
Ending your use
You may stop using Anchored and delete your account through the app's Settings at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create a security or legal risk, misuse Anchored, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to protect Anchored or its users. Where practicable, we will provide notice before termination. Any subscription or refund remains subject to Apple's policies. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-resolution provisions, will remain effective.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist held your place to hear from us. It does not guarantee access to the app, a launch date, specific features, or pricing. We may change, delay, or discontinue any part of the product before or after launch.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchored is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that Anchored will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every user, or that use of Anchored will produce any particular behavioral, personal, spiritual, or other result. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RW Digital Ventures LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from or relating to Anchored.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to Anchored will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Anchored during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or $100. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability resulting from fraud, willful misconduct, or any nonwaivable consumer right.
Informal dispute resolution
Before initiating arbitration or litigation, the party asserting a dispute must provide written notice describing the claim and requested relief. Notices to Anchored must be sent to hello@remainanchored.com. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days after receipt of the notice. This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking immediate relief when necessary to prevent imminent harm or preserve a legal right.
Binding arbitration and class-action waiver
Except for claims eligible for small claims court and claims seeking temporary or preliminary injunctive relief to protect intellectual-property or confidential information, any dispute arising from or relating to Anchored or these Terms will be resolved through individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules and, where applicable, its Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this provision.
Arbitration will take place remotely unless the parties agree otherwise or the arbitrator determines that another format is reasonably necessary. The allocation of arbitration fees will be governed by the applicable AAA rules. Each party retains the right to seek any remedy available on an individual basis under applicable law.
You and RW Digital Ventures LLC agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff, claimant, or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party's individual claim.
You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing hello@remainanchored.com within 30 days after first accepting these Terms. Your notice must identify the email address associated with your account and clearly state that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect your access to Anchored.
If 25 or more substantially similar arbitration demands are submitted against the same party by or with the assistance of the same or coordinated counsel, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules will apply. The parties will cooperate in good faith with any process administrator or arbitrator appointed under those rules to promote the fair and efficient resolution of the demands.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections provided by the law of your state of residence. For any dispute not subject to arbitration, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, except that an eligible claim may be brought in small claims court or where applicable law requires a different forum.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, by email, or through another appropriate method before the change takes effect. The updated Terms will identify their effective date. Your continued use of Anchored after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a material change, you must stop using Anchored. Changes to the arbitration provision will not apply retroactively to disputes of which we had actual notice before the change became effective.
Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and RW Digital Ventures LLC, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for Anchored or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services. Your license to use the app is limited to Apple-branded products that you own or control, subject to Apple's Usage Rules, including any applicable Family Sharing terms. To the extent any warranty cannot lawfully be disclaimed, you may notify Apple for any refund of the purchase price available under Apple's policies, and Apple will have no further warranty obligation. RW Digital Ventures LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product-liability, legal-compliance, and intellectual-property claims. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you.
Miscellaneous
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and RW Digital Ventures LLC concerning Anchored. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, except as otherwise stated in the arbitration section. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law. Headings are provided only for convenience.
