About
Built for the man who is done drifting.
The problem we saw
The struggle with pornography is one of the quietest battles in the modern church. Most men fight it alone, because the cost of speaking feels higher than the cost of staying stuck. The tools on offer did not help the silence. Some watched everything a man did and called it accountability. Some gamified his shame with scores and countdown timers. Almost none of them sounded like they had ever sat in a pew.
We thought a man deserved better. Something private enough to be honest with. Practical enough to actually work on a Tuesday night. And built on something sturdier than willpower.
The conviction
Anchored is built on a verse:
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast”Hebrews 6:19, KJV
Hope is not a mood. In this verse it is a piece of equipment. An anchor does not keep the storm from coming; it keeps the storm from taking you somewhere you did not choose to go. That is what we set out to build: equipment for hope.
It shapes everything in the app. The day count is called a Walk, not a streak, because Scripture talks about walking, not winning. A relapse is called a stumble, and what follows it is grace, not a red screen. The weekly report exists because feelings forget, and evidence holds.
Who is behind it
Anchored is made by RW Digital Ventures LLC, a small, independent company. No venture capital with growth targets that would tempt us to compromise on privacy. No data business humming under the app. Just a builder who believes this tool should exist, building it carefully.
What we believe about this work
Privacy is a form of respect.
A man's repentance is not our data.
Shame is a bad engine.
It runs hot and quits early. Hope runs longer.
Small and faithful beats big and loud.
In recovery, and in the way we run this company.
Begin your Walk.
