FAQ

Fair questions, plain answers.

Is Anchored really private?

Yes, and we put the details in writing. We do not sell data, run ads, post to your accounts, or publish member numbers. You can lock the app behind Face ID, and notifications are worded discreetly. The plain-language version is on our Privacy and Security page, and the legal version is in the Privacy Policy.

Is this a monitoring or accountability-software app?

No. Anchored does not watch your screen, scan your history, or send reports about you to anyone. It is a recovery tool you use on purpose, not surveillance you submit to. If covenant-style monitoring is what you are looking for, other tools do that; it is not what we build.

Do I have to be a Christian to use it?

Anchored is built unapologetically on Scripture, and it is written for Christian men. Any man is welcome to use it, but we will not water down the foundation, because the foundation is the point.

What does it cost?

Your first week of practices, the daily verse, your Walk, check-ins, and the help button are free for everyone. Anchored+ unlocks the full Reset Library and complete daily path: $9.99 a month, $59.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $149.99 once for lifetime access. The full breakdown is on our Pricing page, published before you download anything.

What happens if I stumble?

You log it honestly as a reset, and the app meets you with a practice built for exactly that moment: grace for the moment after, and a way to get back up without shame. There is no public reset and no scolding screen.

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.”Proverbs 24:16, KJV
Will anyone know I use this app?

Not from us. Anchored never posts, never invites your contacts, and the one daily notification is worded so it says nothing to a passing eye. You can require Face ID to open the app, and if you share a card from it, you can hide the Anchored name entirely.

What is on the Home screen when I open it?

A greeting, a verse for the day, one short practice (about three minutes), and a button that says I need help right now. That button is the heart of the app. It is always one tap away.

Is Anchored a replacement for therapy or pastoral care?

No. Anchored is a tool, not treatment, and it is not professional or medical advice. For many men the app is one part of a wider walk that includes a pastor, a counselor, or a trusted brother. We encourage that, and our Terms say the same thing more formally.

Which Bible translation does the app use?

King James Version and World English Bible. Old words, unchanged.

How do I cancel?

In your device's subscription settings, in two taps, anytime. No retention maze, no guilt screen. And if you chose Lifetime, there is nothing to cancel, ever.
